How Can I Prevent Baby Allergies?

Baby allergies can be prevented through baby food – besides hereditary factors, a baby may get allergic reactions from early exposures to particular allergens such as eggs and milk. The mother may breastfeed her baby, but he can get exposed to the allergens that can be found in his mother’s daily diet.  Breastfeeding is regarded as the most reasonable method to protect a baby from developing future allergies and to boost his immune system in a natural way.

Also, you must avoid foods that have a high level of allergens such as fish, eggs, peanuts and dairy products, especially if you already have a history of allergies of your own. The risks for your child to develop allergies in the future may be decreased and you can do this by breastfeeding him. A breastfed baby will be provided with enormous advantages when compared to the babies who are not fed this way. For instance, a breastfed baby will build a stronger immune system that will be more capable of dealing with potential allergens. Also, breast milk comes with plenty of fats, vitamins, carbohydrates, water, proteins and minerals and all these are in right amounts for your baby.

Breast milk will protect your baby from chronic and infectious diseases and provides the necessary protection against various types of allergies. In order to protect your baby from developing future allergies, you must start right from the start. Usually, mothers are not aware of the presence of a particular allergy in their babies until they have strong reactions like rashes or seizures. So, the most efficient way to protect your baby against the like hood of developing a future allergy is to create a very good chemical and physical balance right from the start. This way, you will also protect your child from developing allergies in the years to come. You can do this through breastfeeding and by avoiding medications during your baby’s first year.

By using medications, you will prevent your baby’s immune system from developing in a normal way. Remember that the immune system develops by constantly fighting germs on smaller scales. So, by allowing your baby’s immune system to get the chance to fight various germs right on its own, you will encourage it to build up and become perfectly able to fight against more serious germs and infections that are alien to the body. The immune system will become able to fight in a balanced way. Remember that allergies are simple over-reactions of the immune system in its attempts to get rid of alien chemistry. On the other hand, you should improve the baby’s/child’s daily diet in order to make sure that your child consumes fruits and vegetables.

Fresh vegetables and fruits come with plenty of antioxidants that can protect your child’s immune system and even clean his body from all sorts of free radicals that attack the healthy DNA. Some of the most important antioxidants are selenium, Vitamin A, C and E.  While genetic factors cannot be avoided, you may protect your baby from developing future allergies through healthy and proper baby food. So, you will have to delay giving your baby solid foods until he is 4 months old, breastfeed him, top your diet with healthy and nutritional foods or go pro biotic food sources that may help you build a stronger immune system and health – these are the best and most important components when it comes to fighting against  baby allergies.
